Yet another success with the Brazilian Jaguariuna race

Nossa Senhora de Lourdes Farm, Jaguariuna, São Paulo, Brazil. Friday 16 June 2017. This was the third round of the Sao Paulo State Endurance Paulista Championship, hosted at Nossa Senhora de Lourdes Farm, Jaguariuna, São Paulo, Brazil and organized by the Instituto Enduro Brasil (IEB).

The competition counted more than 90 competitors in this one day event. The importance of this event was reflected with entries from states like Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Distrito Federal and Parana.

Leaving for the next loop.A pleasant weather, a clear sky and the perfection of the tracks assured a technical endurance race with very few eliminations and high average speed in all categories. All these factors increased the competitiveness in CEI events and as a result all the trophies were awarded with a wonderful competition and were caught by an unmatched performance of the horses.

There was only one competitor in the CEI3* 160km; Fernando Gonçalves with the amazing horse Commander Rach, was fully applauded by all present when the horse passed the final vet-gate with an average speed of 17km/h.

Endurance World Jaguariuna. In full charge.The CEI2* 120km had Andre Vidiz and Chambord Endurance in the leadership since the first loop (average speed 19,86 km/h). Leo Steinbruch with Visconde Endurance finished in second place and Thiago Nastar Haidar with Zante Rach finished in third, and also took the best condition prize.
The Haras Endurance Farm, from Leo Steinbruch and the Rach Stud, from the Saliba’s family, are two of the main breeders of endurance horses in Brazil.

The Young Riders CEIYJ2* 120km was won by Luciana R. Toledo with Novo Prado Norman, who was leading since the first loop with average speed of 19,76km/h, followed by Jose Caio Vaz Guimares with Rakassa Endurance and Elisa Penna Chaves with HMR El deb Harina who won best condition.

Endurance World Jaguariuna. At a water station.In CEI1* 80km two competitors fought for first place since the second loop. The difference between top two and third place (Daniel Haddad with Uriah Heep HEB) was more than 20 minutes. In the end Patricia Bicudo and Atila da Barra won with an average speed of 21,8km/h being followed by Pedro Marino with Al Saida Larzac, an imported French mare.

The Young Riders CEIYJ1* 80km saw victory going to Gabriela Abreu with Taybe el Dinar arriving 14 minutes ahead of the second place Tiago Esteves de Oliveira Cesar with Dubai el Lethyf Akin. The third place went to the French rider Oceane Hamon with the French Stallion Tatum des Graves. The best condition went to the winner Taybe el Dinar.

In September, the same farm will host the Brazilian Championship of the CEI3 160km and the CEI races of 120 km and 80 km, probably more than 15 horses will be racing in this CEI3*.
