When did you start riding?

I started riding when I was 15 years old before I did some gymnastics at school.

Does riding run in the family?

No not at all. I’m the only one crazy about horses! But my family wants to be updated all the time during the race. They watch on TV and we call or send messages between the loops.

Why horses?

I’ve always loved horses ever since I was a little girl but never got to do any riding or training until the age of 15. I got invited by a friend who was already racing.

Why endurance?

For the thrill, I guess? I’ve done show jumping for quite some time but I didn’t do anything special there. I stopped doing it to make a move to endurance because it’s more exciting and rewarding, I enjoy endurance more.

Do you own your own horses or you ride for somebody else?

I own one horse now which I got from another owner who raced with him till three years ago. I started riding for Al Kamda Endurance Stables in 2006 but only committed to racing in 2010. My trainer is Mansour Ibrahim Ahmed.

Do you train horses?

I’ve broken in young horses and I have worked with crazy horses. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing you hard work paying off in the end!
I’m training the horse I got recently. He’s a bit spooky but hope to qualify and race him next season.

What else do you enjoy?

I enjoy running and jogging, watching Japanese anime, playing video games, and travelling.

What goals did you set out?

I would like to become an elite rider which means that I have to finish ten CEI3* 160 km races.
I would like to travel and race abroad and the countries that come to my mind are Australia, Argentina, France, Italy, UK and Uruguay.
