Biography:

Since she started riding horses at the age of 28, endurance has brought Wipawan Pawitayalarp “deeply crazy in love” with all things equestrian. She has been single-mindedly riding in endurance competitions, competing both in Thailand and internationally. Thanks to her, the Thai team has become very well known for its achievements.

Wipawan is the first female Thai endurance rider who has really made history in the sport. She is idolised by other Thai competitors, and is a co-founder of The Horses Endurance Stable Thailand (owned by Prutirat R. Serireongrith, who is also her coach and trainer).

Wipawan has a key role in the organisation of international and local races in Thailand.

Notable achievements:

  • 1st place – Malaysia-Thailand Open Endurance Challenge 2010 at Thai Polo Pattaya, Thailand
  • 1st place – Sultan Mizan Cup 2011 at Terengganu, Malaysia
  • 1st place – Sultan Mizan Cup 2012 at Terengganu, Malaysia
  • Participating – FEI European Open Endurance Championship 2013 at Most, Czech Republic
  • 14th place – World Equestrian Games 2014 at Sartilly, France
  • Competed at HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Almaktoum Endurance Cup 2016 CEI***
  • Participated in World Endurance Championships 2016 at Samorin, Slovakia
