Costanza Laliscia makes it two in a row

Perugia, Italy. Wednesday 7 June 2017. With the second consecutive Italian National Title conquered in San Vito al Tagliamento last Friday, the precious collection of Costanza Laliscia of tricolour titles has reached the number of six.

A happy champion.On the hard 160 kilometres of the Friulano scenery, Costanza has achieved the second consecutive win after last year’s triumph in San Rossore, together with the two Italian juniors and young riders Championships 2014 and 2015. In San Vito al Tagliamento, Costanza was the best in a competition full of fierce adversaries, who had the purpose of preventing the consecutive title for the young Perugian rider. In contrast she won, in the saddle of Rok, an Anglo Arabian gelding born in 2002, after a comeback destined to stay in the Italian Endurance memory.
Starting the last loop with a delay of more than eight minutes on the leader Lori, Costanza averaged a speed of 25.87 km/h.
And then it turned out into a nail biting sprint beating Camilla Malta (Barbaforte Bosana).
