Endurance World Punta del Este. Rider leaving for the next loop.On Saturday, 160km CEI3* and 80km CEI * in Senior and Young Riders categories were ran. Winner of the 160km Senior was Pilar Saravia (15) ; “It was a nice race, the first time I ran Che Niebla over that distance.  We all had a lot of confidence in the horse. She always knows what she has to do and what is coming which helped me a lot to get a little off my nerves. It was a quiet race, until the penultimate stage we ran together with Alvaro Garcia, both horses were comfortable and between us we helped each other. Nevertheless, the last loop I left alone and tried to raise a little the average speed.”

The 80km was divided into 3 stages of 29.7km, 30km and 20.5km. In the senior category, the winner was Fernando Flores (Como Quieras), after Rogelio Angelo was eliminated in the last veterinary control. Fernando started the last loop in fifth position and he managed to surpass his opponents at a speed of 28km/h. Monica Pinto (Brazil) again managed to get on the podium in second place.

Who started the last loop first was Lucia Landa with Tango VV, but decided to lower the speed and finished in 3rd position.

Endurance World Punta del Este. Rider in big attack.Fernando Flores was happy with the result “We left the last stage in 5th position and went a bit faster to see if we could climb some more positions. I did ask the owner if we could go faster, he approved and things went right ‘.

Neither did Paula Berriel, who had left in second position (27,58 km/h). The winner was Diego Macalister (AS Curtiva) at a speed of 22.74km/h. In second place came Martin Stirling (LG Lejamsi) and in third place the Argentinean Josefina Rolt (Plotina of the Timote).
For the second place, Martin Stirling “It was a very close race, all the horses recovered very well. We made a penalty in the second stage and that left us off the podium. To reverse this we went faster in the best parts of the track in the last loop. Congratulations to the winners, we were happy with LG Lejamsi who was just training. ”

The race in which more participants competed was 120km CEI2*, with more than 30 foreigners in both categories looking to qualify for the next Pannie American Championship.
