Usually races in Qatar are on Saturdays but for this occasion because the Al Hamla Endurance Cup was a night race, the event was on Friday.

It was a nice programme for the closing race of the Bahrain endurance season with a CEN 40km, CEN 80km, CEI1* 80km, CEN 120km for private stables and a CEI2* 120km.

This equestrian site, 60 km south of Paris was host of two CEI1* 80km, CEI2* 120 for both junior and senior and a CEI3* 160km plus some national races.

The Boudheib Endurance Organising Committee, creators of the Boudheib Initiative has been very pleased with the past season in the United Arab Emirates. After a busy calendar in the UAE the focus is now on international races abroad.
In October 2017 Rockethorse will hold the second edition of Race the Wild Coast, a new breed of horse race. Riders, with a team of three horses, compete for victory over 350km of rugged paradise on the remote east coast of South Africa; navigating through the wilderness, swimming through rivers and keeping horses fit for vet checks.
